Tonight, we celebrate the production company Stocktown for its groundbreaking work in documenting popular culture, primarily in Stockholm’s cultural scene and the African continent. Three short films from their series “Show and Tell” will be screened, as well as two episodes from the music series “Afripedia” about Ghana and Senegal. Don’t miss the post-screening discussion with the creators and panelists from the community, discussing how to build one’s own platforms and communities, and exploring the importance of ownership in what is produced.
