Meryem Saadi

Meryem Saadi is a cultural activist, journalist and curator from Morocco currently based in Stockholm. Her works explores the intersections that exist between contemporary art, architecture, social conflicts and political instability. Before relocating to Sweden in 2017 to pursue a Master’s degree in Art Curating at Stockholm University, she worked at the National Foundation of Moroccan Museums (Fondation Nationale des Musées du Maroc), and collaborated with the Moroccan weekly magazine TelQuel where she regularly wrote film reviews and interviewed local and international film directors and actors.

Nancy Ofori

Nancy is an Afro-Swedish theatre maker, performer and writer. Her work explores Ghanaian culture, the Black experience and spirituality. In 2019, she wrote and performed her solo show, Kind of Woman at Camden People’s Theatre. She has also performed at The Vaults Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Theatre 503, and Serpentine Galleries – Park Nights.

She completed a new play as part of the Soho Writers Lab in 2019, and is currently working on her final project to complete her MA in Visual Anthropology at Goldsmiths University, London.

Tawanda Appiah

Tawanda Appiah is a Zimbabwean born curator, researcher and writer currently based in Sweden. His research traces coloniality, necropolitics, affect and the landscape of resistances, utilising a decolonial and queer praxis. He is the Editor at Njelele Art Station, and previously served as a co-curator at Skånes konstförening, and Curator for Education & Public Programming at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. Recent curatorial projects and interventions include: No Country Like (Skånes konstförening, Sweden, 2018); Better Safe and Sorry (Moderna Museet, Sweden, 2018); Something Happened (Skånes konstförening, 2019); Everything Will Happened (KRETS gallery, Sweden, 2019); On Practices (Malmö Konsthall and Skånes konstförening, 2019).
