CinemAfrica was recognized at the Afrika Fusion Fest 2024

During the summer, CinemAfrica was acknowledged at the Afrikan Fusion Art Festival. The festival celebrates African culture through fashion, food, music, and art and aims to promote sustainability and cultural exchange. 

The purpose is to experience the Richness of African Culture; the two-day conference and festival started with an inspiring launch event featuring an impactful business roundtable session and a prestigious awards ceremony.

The African culture festival also highlighted the recognition of organizations and people who have contributed immensely to promoting African culture globally.

@africanprofessionalssweden was recognized for their service of promoting the development, growth, and inclusion of African professionals in Sweden @cinemafrica and our chairperson @maureenhoppers were awarded for the promotion, inclusion, and visibility of African culture and African films @ethiopianembassysweden H.E Ambassador Mehreteab Mulugeta wasn’t left out; he was awarded for his significant contribution and engagement with the Nigerian Youths in Sweden

Lastly, Lamin Darboe @ourbantaba was awarded for his dedication and service in promoting the development, growth, and inclusion of African professionals in Sweden.

Leaders and innovators came together to discuss the future of African culture, sustainability, and entrepreneurship, with representation from various embassies adding to the event’s significance. The energy, ideas, and connections made were truly remarkable.
