In the town of Zinder, in the heart of the Sahel, young Nigeriens form gangs compelled to deal with the lack of prospects. These groups, called “Palais”, come from the Kara Kara district, historically home to lepers and outcasts. The director and activist Aicha Macky, born in Zinder, returns to her hometown to tell the story of this neglected youth.
